We're pround & honored to be a part of this release, as we've always considered the Danish from Hexis as one of the best band to walk the Earth nowadays. So it's now official, their brillant new ep, named XII, is released today worldwide. This new offering from the kings of ultra blackened hardcore display 5 tracks of pure mayhem. The beautiful vinyl is accompanied by a cd version of the ep, so you can mosh in your car too!

HEXIS NEW EP TO BE RELEASED ON SEPTEMBER THE 29th

So, it has been planned  for quite a long time and after many delays, we're now able to announce officially the release of the new ep from the Danish masters of extreme blackened crust-HxC HEXIS.

It's a real honor to be part of this release, as HEXIS has always been among our favorite bands here at DIVISION RECORDS. So this new ep is called "XII" and contains 5 furously insane songs. It will be released on September the 29th on a gorgeous 10" vinyl with cd included. For the new release we're proudly collaborating with three awesome labels:

Truthseeker (UK)
Crown & Throne (USA)

A little retrospective of the last year.

2016 first release was the astonishing 4th album of RORCAL, the fantastic CREON. It was a real honor for us to collaborate in unleashing such a gigantic master piece of black art. It is rare to listen to such a complete work of art nowadays, their unique blend of black metal, doom & drone has reached a level beyond human understanding.

Then it was time to do what we wanted to do for years: sign a ROCK band. And this happened in the form of CHARLES IN THE KITCHEN, this huge groove machine. The idea was to enlarge our roster with different music styles. After having worked with hardcore, post-metal, doom, sludge, grind, black and stoner bands, we were ready to dive one step further and propose a pure rock band. We first released a brilliant 7” ep as single of their upcoming album. This first song has been on heavy rotation on Swiss radio, which is a real achievement for us! We are proud and happy! Then, after the summer, we released the full-length and the truth is that SLICE, COOK, TASTE & THRILL is one of the best modern rock albums we’ve heard in years. Well done, guys! 

One more record slot was open for this year, and we decided that after rock, it was worth to get back to some gloomy violence. That’s why we signed CHARLENE BERETAH for the release of their first ep, mixing with no shame doom, crust and black metal. And Jesus, it felt right to do something that nasty & that primitive!

CHARLENE BERETAH ARE OUR NEW HEROES

What better time than Halloween to announce this great news: Black / Crust / Doom  Swiss duo CHARLENE BERATH as just signed to you favorite label!

This Guitar / Drum killing machine will release a first vinyl ep on December the 2nd and let us tell you that it's something really gloomy!

Inspired by the slowest doom, with hints of old-school black metal & sudden crust hysteria, this new band is going to please you all the ways you need!

Called Depraved / A Very Long Week, their first recording will take the shape of a two song ep with more than 20 minutes of raw, uncompromising metallic fury.

For this unique occasion, the band will perform the new album in its entirety AND a lot of older songs as well! So it's the perfect occasion to come and shake your booty, as well as to buy their 2nd album on 180 gr. black VINYL and/or gorgeous CD DIGIPACK!

SPRING RELEASE! YOU SHALL DANCE!

After having released a doomy black metal masterpiece we thought that it was the time to bring you something a little fresher, something more “springy” in its very nature. So we decided to sign this awesome band called CHARLES IN THE KITCHEN. They play a furious blend of good old rock n’roll mixed with garage vibes and hi-energy blues. They’re godlike in their way to write anthem songs that stays in the head for months. They’re going to release a single just before summer. Their sound will stick to your head like a brain tumor. They’ll make you dance until the sunrise. We couldn’t be more happy and proud to work with them.

THEM STONES & JONBAR HINGE REVEALED!

As you all konw, this winter will be placed under the sign of the massive& doomy stoner grunge distilled by THEM STONES & JONBAR HINGE, two awesome bands that have  recently joined your favorite label!

It is now time for you to learn more about these two heavy beasts!

Jonbar Hinge is a rock band from Switzerland, playing a heavy ‘stoner-like’ music at the crossroads of ‘progressive', ‘post-rock' and ‘metal’ genres.

The Jonbar Hinge project took place during the course of the year 2012, reflecting a common passion for heavy rock music between Mauro and Marc (guitarists), both former musicians in several other bands.

Soon, Antoine (drums) and Emmanuel (bass) - having themselves quite a long experience in the local rock scene - joined the duo and the newborn Jonbar Hinge combo emerged out of the forge. In the late 2013, the band recorded 5 songs (with no vocals at the time). In 2014, Matthieu joined the band to perform the vocals in studio, closing the loop of the recording process.

                                                              THEM STONES

Them Stones was formed when an asteroid fell on the small Swiss canton of Neuchatel in 2012. This five-man-band is composed of two guitars, vocals, drums and the bass.

Initially, Them Stones had a very stoner rock sound, but they quickly forged themselves a varied repertory of compositions. Greatly influenced by Seattle's grunge scene of the 90 's, the band has now orientated their music towards a bluesy hard-rock, sprinkled with grunge, metal and even doom! Their stage performances are as wild as hypnotic and will undoubtedly leave an indelible trace on their audience.

Both release are coming on the 20th November!
