What better time than Halloween to announce this great news: Black / Crust / Doom  Swiss duo CHARLENE BERATH as just signed to you favorite label!

This Guitar / Drum killing machine will release a first vinyl ep on December the 2nd and let us tell you that it's something really gloomy!

Inspired by the slowest doom, with hints of old-school black metal & sudden crust hysteria, this new band is going to please you all the ways you need!

Called Depraved / A Very Long Week, their first recording will take the shape of a two song ep with more than 20 minutes of raw, uncompromising metallic fury.

Quick update to announce that the release party for CHARLES IN THE KITCHEN brillant new album, SLICE, COOK, TASTE & THRILL will take place Friday the 14th of October at the Queen Kong Club in Neuchâtel!

For this unique occasion, the band will perform the new album in its entirety AND a lot of older songs as well! So it's the perfect occasion to come and shake your booty, as well as to buy their 2nd album on 180 gr. black VINYL and/or gorgeous CD DIGIPACK!

Today is the day as the gorgeous new 7" single from CHARLES IN THE KITCHEN is now available worldwide.

Now let's here what the band has to say about this new release:

“We were finishing writing the songs (nfr: for their second album) last fall and were discussing the release options with the guys at Division. It was too short for an album release before the summer. Someone then said, “Why not release just 1 or 2 songs first?” Someone else added “On a 7” single!” Old school as fuck, but fresh.” The first song of the 7”, and single “The Spleen Controversy” is a track that the band considers to be “the most danceable song of the album”, with a contagious groove and rhythm that are rightly complemented with vocals that jump up and down, the unceasing energetic vibe and the dramatic weight that parades from time to time, the two spectacularly intertwined. “A sort of 70s dancy-soul-rock song whose line was inspired by let’s call it “the approximate memory of a video game jingle of the 80s”. Not kidding! The bass line, on which the whole song is built, was even composed on a gipsy guitar,” explains the band. 

For the second side of the 7” they wanted, “something special, something we would never do otherwise, something we might never do again.” Remember 1993 electronica-clubby-pop hit “Sweet Harmony” by UK’s The Beloved? Yeah… they did something special alright. There’s no relation between the song and Charles In The Kitchen, but they wanted something different and special. For reasons they try to ignore, the idea came from the singer that had been dreaming singing the song. The only rule was “it had to be rock and therefore be recorded using only our instruments”.  The song has also a special participation of Lisa-Marie Boux, responsible for all the sweetness that enables an unhealthy addiction.

We are proud to announce the release date of CHARLES IN THE KITCHEN new single. This new 7" vinyl consists of a new song from the upcoming album (expect it for fall 2016) called "The Spleen Controversy" and an exclusive cover from the 80' band The Beloved, "Sweet Harmony", which is really surprising. It sounds huge and it'll make you dance 'til the end of the summer!!!

Release date set to May the 20th. We will have a huge party to celebrate this new single! News soon to come, stay tuned!

SPRING RELEASE! YOU SHALL DANCE!

After having released a doomy black metal masterpiece we thought that it was the time to bring you something a little fresher, something more “springy” in its very nature. So we decided to sign this awesome band called CHARLES IN THE KITCHEN. They play a furious blend of good old rock n’roll mixed with garage vibes and hi-energy blues. They’re godlike in their way to write anthem songs that stays in the head for months. They’re going to release a single just before summer. Their sound will stick to your head like a brain tumor. They’ll make you dance until the sunrise. We couldn’t be more happy and proud to work with them.

NEWS ABOUT OUR FIRST 2016 RELEASE: RORCAL-CREON

So here is some informations about the new RORCAL masterpiece. We can assure you that we're really excited about this new album, as this is probably the best black metal album we've heard for years... all "post" black shitty bands with endless names can return to school...!!!

Three years after the monstrous and blackened VILAGVEGE, RORCAL is back with a brand new full length entitled CREON. Again, this new beast is showing a different face of the band by the mean of 4 hellish tracks for more than 50 minutes of music. Furious, but also melodic, these new songs display a wild range of atmosphere, each one serving the purpose of an epic story. Yes, it’s the death of 4 well known Greek characters, all linked to Creon, that are narrated in this new concept album. Punishing blast beats, heavy riffs, progressive structures expressed through brilliant song writing, possessed vocals; everything is here reunited to create a new level of insanity in the field of extreme music. This 4^th full length, recorded in three day in live conditions by Steph Kroug and mixed in Sweden by Daniel Bergstrand, is a journey like no one can even dreamed of. Let the magic do its job, let yourself drown in this beautiful and savage piece of aggression.
